SUMMARY:Bug Quest Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join SOOF and local entomologist Scott Digweed for a buggy afternoon!  We’ll start indoors learning about DNA barcodes and the hidden biodiversity of forest insects.  Then we’ll take a field trip to the Goldsmith Lake Wilderness Area for a closer look at the bug traps that have been deployed.  And YOU can help collect the weekly sample for the Bug Quest project and contribute to Canada’s largest ever insect survey! \n\nFree Workshop.\nMaximum 20 Participants\nRegistration Required – Click HERE to register and secure your spot today!     \nNote about accessibility: The workshop will take place on uneven terrain\, there may be some tree stumps and other natural obstacles.  \n\n \n\nInformed Consent & Release Of Liability:  Our workshops are a wonderful way to connect to nature\, learn more about our forests and interact with the community\, but it is not without certain risks\, dangers\, hazards\, and liabilities to participants.  We require all participants (or their legal guardians) to complete\, sign and date the waiver before they can participate in the workshop.
