DESCRIPTION:Join Registered Clinical Herbalist Ember Peters (RHP) for an exploration of wild medicinal plants growing in the mature ecosystems around Goldsmith. Through this walk we will weave together sustainable wild harvesting\, plant identification tips\, and learning through your own sensory observation. By learning to honour the plant medicines\, we can inspire our spirits of community resistance and resilience! \nWhat to bring/wear: Layered clothing\, waterproof boots/shoes\, water\, snacks\, bug dope/bug shirt \nLimited to 12 participants. \nRegistration required: email soof@saveouroldforests.ca to register \nMeeting Location for Check-In: Intersection of Morse Road and Neaves Road (GPS: 44.770245\, -65.242387)   \nInformed Consent & Release Of Liability:  Our workshops are a wonderful way to connect to nature\, learn more about our forests and interact with the community\, but it is not without certain risks\, dangers\, hazards\, and liabilities to participants.  We require all participants (or their legal guardians) to complete\, sign and date the waiver before they can participate in the workshop.
