SUMMARY:Owl Prowl with Donna Crossland - Wait List open
DESCRIPTION:Who Cooks For You??  The Barred Owl that’s who! \nJoin Donna Crossland for a nighttime adventure at the Goldsmith Lake Wilderness Area. The OWL PROWL is a great way to learn about the owls that call Nova Scotia home. You’ll learn their calls\, hear some great owl stories and possibly have a close encounter with a Barred owl (or two)! \nWe will be meeting at 7:00pm for check-in and the workshop will run from 7:15pm – 9:30pm.   \n\nBe sure to dress for winter!  It might be April but it will be cold out in the forest – hats\, gloves\, warm boots.  Bring  a flashlight or headlamp.   \nFree Workshop.\nRegistration is now full.  Add your name to the WAIT LIST and we will be in touch if there are any cancellations.   \nNote about accessibility: The workshop will take place on uneven terrain\, there may be some tree stumps and other natural obstacles.  \nInformed Consent & Release Of Liability:  Our workshops are a wonderful way to connect to nature\, learn more about our forests and interact with the community\, but it is not without certain risks\, dangers\, hazards\, and liabilities to participants.  We require all participants (or their legal guardians) to complete\, sign and date the waiver before they can participate in the workshop. Click here to download the waiver and please ensure that you bring it with you to the event. Copies of the waiver will also be available if you are unable to print or forget it at home! \nRain/Wind Date: Friday\, May 1\, 2026
