SOOF Presentation @ 2025 MTRI Biodiversity Conservation Showcase

Join SOOF’s president, Nina Newington, at MTRI’s Biodiversity Conservation Showcase for a talk about the essential contributions of citizen science to biodiversity conservation.
Nina will provide an overview and examples of citizen science success in the Goldsmith Lake Wilderness Area identifying species at risk and stands of old-growth, demonstrating that the area meets the criteria for permanent protection under the Collaborative Protected Areas Strategy.
