Citizen Science Workshop (Part 2) @ Sandy Lake Park

Join Dr. David Patriquin and Dr. Sean Haughian (Curator of Botany, NS Museum) for a hike around Sandy Lake Park. Dr. Patriquin has noted that there are patches of Old Growth in the Sandy Lake Park – some very similar to stands at the Goldsmith Lake Wilderness Area. This is a great opportunity for folks in the Halifax area to see and walk through Old Growth right in your own backyard!
