Owl Prowl with Donna Crossland

Join Donna Crossland and Save Our Old Forests for a nighttime Owl Prowl adventure at the Goldsmith Lake Wilderness Area! Hear owl stories, learn their calls, consider a nest box owl home. Possibly see barred owls up close from the old forest habitat that surrounds us.

Check-in Time:  7:00pm
Check-in Location: Intersection of Morse Road and Neaves Road (GPS: 44.770245, -65.242387)  
Workshop Time:  7:15pm – 9:30pm
Workshop Location: Goldsmith Lake Wilderness Area
What to bring/wear: Dress for winter – hat and gloves (your hands will get cold holding a flashlight!), warm boots, flashlight or headlamp, water
Accessibility: The walk will take place on uneven terrain in the woods – there will be lots of tree stumps, and other natural obstacles.

Registration required.  Registration will open in late-February. 
 
Informed Consent & Release Of Liability:  Our workshops are a wonderful way to connect to nature, learn more about our forests and interact with the community, but it is not without certain risks, dangers, hazards, and liabilities to participants.  We require all participants (or their legal guardians) to complete, sign and date the waiver before they can participate in the workshop. Click here to download the waiver and please ensure that you bring it with you to the event. Copies of the waiver will also be available if you are unable to print or forget it at home!
