Old Growth Forest Walk – with Donna Crossland and Nina Newington
Join Forest Ecologist Donna Crossland and SOOF President and Forest Protector Nina Newington for a Fall walk through Old Growth Forest in the Goldsmith Lake Wilderness Area. Come and learn what some of our Wabanaki forest old growth looks like, and what makes it so special. The walk will take place Rain or Shine!
If you are signing up for a family or group we ask you to submit one form for each person that will be attending.
ACCESSIBILITY: The walk will take place on uneven terrain in the woods – there will be lots of tree stumps, and other natural obstacles.
FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS: Our workshops are for humans only – please leave your pets at home!
Informed Consent & Release Of Liability: Our workshops are a wonderful way to connect to nature, learn more about our forests and interact with the community, but it is not without certain risks, dangers, hazards, and liabilities to participants. We require all participants (or their legal guardians) to complete, sign and date the waiver before they can participate in the workshop.
